Pagan Ceremonies

HANDFASTING

Heidi offers secular nuptials and Pagan ritual for partners seeking a celebration that incorporates a connection to nature, their loved ones and the Universal spirit. The events are set-up in the round with the couple in the center.

Ceremonies include a blessing of the directions, evocation of the Universal spirit, hand fasting ritual and any custom elements that are desired including the combination of any faith.

Naming Ritual

In Norse tradition, the birth of a child was celebrated on the tenth day after they are born. Heidi can work with you to be on call for the tenth day or we can finagle tradition a bit and schedule something well in advance!

The ritual includes a dedication of the child and vows from the parents and the chosen spiritual guides to raise the kiddo to be a good human!

Additional elements can include a dryss (sprinkling of water), Rune blessing and offerings of food and drink to the gods for prosperity.

Fire Ceremony

A symbolic ceremony for a loved one who has passed where friends and family gather to celebrate the life that was lived and move their spirit into the next life.

The attendees are asked to bring something as a symbol of what the person who has passed meant to them. The symbols are burned in a fire on a miniature ship to be cast into a body of water (permits and precautions may be required in your area).

*can also be done in a firepit or adapted to be an indoor event using a small cauldron or other fire proof container
